BEIJING: Britain and China are at loggerheads again, this time over allegations by Britain’s MI5 intelligence agency that China sent its own spy agency to spy on Britain’s Prince Andrew and then relayed the information to the high command in Beijing.

So, in response to this issue, a spokesperson for the Chinese Foreign Ministry came out to explain that the case of a Chinese businessman who is a close friend of Prince Andrew and took advantage of this relationship to spy on secrets from Britain to China. “It’s a completely unreasonable accusation.”

The mystery unfolded last week. Prince Andrew has ties to a Chinese national named Yang Tengbo, who has been blacklisted by the UK and banned from entering the UK. Responding to questions from reporters about the matter, UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer said: “The UK is concerned about the challenges posed by China.” But he still defended the bilateral policy of the two countries.

From Beijing, China, Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Lin Jian Jian) said that the relationship between the UK and China focuses on mutual interests or mutual benefits. On the other hand, this relationship is also to promote global economic growth and to prepare to solve challenges in the global framework.

The Chinese spokesperson hopes that the UK will work with China to think things through in a positive way and continue to pursue cooperation, mutual benefit and win-win policies. It is worth noting that Chinese businessman Yang Tengbo, whom the British accuse of being a secret agent, was once invited to Prince Andrew’s birthday party.

He said in a statement that he had “done nothing wrong or illegal.” He considered himself a victim in a political game. He added that the accusations that he was a spy were completely false. He has nothing to hide and is ready to appeal the British decision.

Last Thursday A British court has banned Yang Dengpo from entering the UK for life, saying the British government had reasonable grounds to do so. The court ruled that Yang Dengpo was used by the Chinese government to communicate with Prince Andrew to act as a bridge between senior Chinese government officials and important British figures. This relationship, according to the British court’s decision, was not in vain. In the future, it will be easy to use the influence of this relationship to interfere in the internal political affairs of England.

The Conservative Party, the opposition party in Britain, has criticized the government of Mr. Christensen for being indifferent to the challenge. In response to this criticism, the British Foreign Secretary said that the government was not the only one who did not know that people were being used for internal intelligence. Britain has already raised the issue with the Chinese government. But in diplomacy, they do it quietly, they don’t talk openly through the media.
